This colorful beaded basket bowl was made by women living in the United Nations Refugee camp located near Juba, South Sudan. These women are members of the Anyuak tribe and are part of the Roots Project.
The pattern of the beadwork is typical of their traditional style. The bowl is made from European glass beads with a semi-bendable wire structure. It is approximately 2-2.5" high and roughly 6" in diameter at the top.
This version has a little more green in it. Each bowl is unique.
